The case hallmarks on #297 are interesting and might indicate a Swiss fake..
All three covers are numbered 2090 and none have a date mark:
- The outer back has a sterling mark in the middle with Birmingham anchor assay marks on either side, and a double struck London assay mark above.
- The cuvette has only a sterling mark in the middle with a London assay mark above.
- The hunter/dial cover has the same marks as the outer back except one of Birmingham assay marks is double struck.
