May, 2006, Brass Eagle Lecturn stolen

A beautiful lecturn (reading stand) was stolen from the historic church of St. Peter the apostle in falmouth, jamaice. it stands over five feet tall and the figure of an eagle with outstretched wings ia perched ontop of an oval object (somewhat egg like). The base has inscribings on it. We believe it to be older than 200yrs and are of the impression that it was stolen and exported as tourists come to view the church dailly.

We seek the assistance of all. If anyone knows its whereabouts please contact me at 1-876-436-5136 or the priest at1-876- 851-2136. Alvena Hammond confused_server@yahoo.com

Stolen Large Cow Weathervane Tunbridge, VT
It's been nearly a year since one of the large Cow weathervanes was stolen from the top of one of our family's barn. The cow is likely made of copper, and likely measures 33" long standing 18" at the shoulder. The thieves were unsuccessful in their bid to steal the second weathervane on the night of July 11, 2004. You can read the article from the local paper here:

Stolen items in West Bridgewater, MA
My family had taken an antique desk and hall stand/tree to an antique furniture finisher in West Bridgewater, MA. This person has since vacated his shop and stolen all of the deposits that were given to him, as well as taken all of the furniture. While we are upset over the loss of the money, we are heartbroken that our great-grandmother's furniture is gone. The hall stand is tiger oak with a bench seat (the lid is broken) and a mirror. The desk is a roll top from the 1800's with slots on the inside for mail/papers/etc. The stand may also have a name written on the back or the initials JF. The original sticker for the furniture dealer is still attached to the stand and is on the back of the stand with the shipping info (I believe this is also the 1800's as well).

This man has taken items from over 50 customers and reportedly has already sold most of them. If anyone has any information on these items (which we are guessing are anywhere in the New England area), please contact me at maryellen96@hotmail.com or contact the West Bridgewater, MA police department at 508-586-2525.

Thank you.
Maryellen Harvey
